Golden Globes

It's a terribly shallow event. I don't get the fascination with it or the people who attend it. I'll never understand why actors are idolized and paid millions of dollars for a few months of pretending...I mean working. Why aren't actors given a reasonable maybe even generous salary and then give the majority of the film profits to our teachers? Where are our priorities? Think about it.
