DC'ing

We down to DC tonight. It is so beautiful down there at night.

Trees on the Potomac.




We walked over to the Korean Memorial. The flag was at half staff in honor of those who died at Ft. Hood.

It is very eerie out there at dusk.


We walked over to the mall. You can see the Washington Monument, Capital and the Reflecting Pool.


Then we went to the Lincoln Memorial.


Here's the great man. One of the guards came over and ask Linc what his name was. Linc didn't get why but the man liked his name very much.


As much as I like taking the kids down there, it isn't always a pleasant time. This was how it was for most of the night.


I guess it is pretty funny looking back on it now.
