~~yawn~~

It's been an uneventful day which I would normally say is good but now I say it's ok. I would like an eventful day that involes a new liver. It should happen soon. Xander is at the top of the list at Johns Hopkins so if one comes in that matches him, he gets it.

It's strange to pray for a liver knowing how it comes about. It's morbid really. I feel sort of guilty. Like I'm not praying just for a liver but for some one to pass on. It's not how I wanted it to happen. I was really hoping Ron would be the donor. I guess I have to have faith this is the way things are meant to be.

Hope everyone has a good night.

Blair,
Just checking in on you. We are praying and we wish we could come by and see you and Xander. Allie is dealing with EBV, so it's best that we stay away until that is all cleared up. I understand how difficult it is to pray for a liver knowing that someone has to die. But what a blessing that their death is not in vain and that they have the chance to help save the life of up to 8 people.

Holding you in our thoughts,

Terri

I understand the guilt...Our transplant coordinator explained it beautifully though...she explained that there is NOTHING we as Savvy's parents could do to save the child that became our donor angel but that the family of our donor angel could save ours...and chose to do the right thing.

I think of our donor angel daily and it makes me honor our "Gift" even more for I feel that by raising Savvy as best as I can I also honor the family of our donor angel.

Love and prayers,
Ana
