Sooooooooooooooo, they may have gotten a bunk weight on Xander. Yesterday he weighed in at 19lbs 6oz. I hope it is a true weight and not extra fluid or enlarging of his liver and spleen. They didn't find any ascites in the ultrasound. But his belly IS bigger and I want them to figure out what's going on exactly.
They did get a sample of the mucus in his lungs to see what's going on in there. Hopefully we'll get those results back tomorrow. That could attribute to his labored breathing as I mentioned before. Whatever the reason, we're not leaving the hospital until he's breathing better.
Keep on smiling and don't forget to pray for all liver babies.
